- Please treat all other participants/team members with the utmost respect. We ask that you treat others with respect, be professional, and refrain from insulting or disparaging other attendees. Harassment and jokes that are racial, homophobic, or exclusionary are not acceptable.
- If you're part of a team, make sure to give credit to each of your teammates for their contributions.
- Minors (participants below the age of 18), must take a legal guardian's permission before signing up.
- Please treat our sponsors, organizers, and judges with the utmost respect. Nothing would have been possible without them.
- While photography is encouraged, all participants must be given a fair opportunity to decline being photographed. If they object to having their picture taken, respect their wishes. In situations where people have a fair expectation of privacy, taking photos is unacceptable.
- The final project must be original. Participants/teams might be asked to elaborate or explain on what project they created during the event and to credit their sources. Only ideas can be produced ahead of time. All of the work on the project (including the pitch video) should be done during the competition.
- Only new additions made during the competition will be considered by the judges.
- We have a strict policy against plagiarism.
Failure to follow the above-mentioned Rules and our Code of Conduct will result in the disqualification of the individual or the team. Please notify the nearest event organizer if you see a fellow participant breaking any of these or are engaging in any other untolerated behaviours.
